S’acosta la nit més llarga de l’any i amb ella, la màgia de l’estiu. Prompte Alcossebre estarà repleta de turistes i s’omplirà de vida. La maquinària turística del nostre poble (hostaleria, comerços, serveis, activitats d’oci) està en marxa i preparada per a rebre als turistes post pandèmia. Arriba Sant Joan i per a les persones autònomes amb xicotet negoci turístic, se’ns acaba la vida social, familiar i de qualsevol tipus. Literalment. És la nostra opció, no és una queixa, però sabem el dur que pot arribar a ser. Així que, des de Compromís per Alcalà i Alcossebre, enviem un missatge d’ànim a cadascun dels engranatges d’aqueixa maquinària turística, perquè superarem amb nota l’estiu, i arribarà octubre, i tornarem als nostres passejos i a veure’ns en els bars. Som una destinació turística consolidada i ho som gràcies al nostre esforç. Ja només queda esperar que tot vaja bé, que no hagen de tancar la platja de les Fonts per un nou episodi de contaminació, i potser deixadesa de l’equip de govern; que el nou, i discutible, carril bici del passeig de les Fonts no provoque cap accident; o que trobem per fi, després d’un any de cerca, la nova ubicació per a la tan demandada platja canina. Veurem si l’equip de govern ha fet els deures, com la resta d’agents del sistema turístic del municipi. Per cert, enguany hem de felicitar-nos perquè Alcalà de Xivert estrena Pla Estratègic de Turisme i Pla de Sostenibilitat Turística en Destí, la qual cosa segur suposarà un salt qualitatiu com a destinació turística. Enhorabona!
Se acerca la noche más larga del año y con ella, la magia del verano. Pronto Alcossebre estará repleta de turistas y se llenará de vida. La maquinaria turística de nuestro pueblo (hostelería, comercios, servicios, actividades de ocio) está en marcha y preparada para recibir a los turistas post pandemia. Llega San Juan y para las personas autónomas con pequeño negocio turístico, se nos acaba la vida social, familiar y de cualquier tipo. Literalmente. Es nuestra opción, no es una queja, pero sabemos lo duro que puede llegar a ser. Así que, desde Compromís per Alcalà i Alcossebre, mandamos un mensaje de ánimo a cada uno de los engranajes de esa maquinaria turística, porque superaremos con nota el verano, y llegará octubre, y volveremos a nuestros paseos y a vernos en los bares. Somos un destino turístico consolidado y lo somos gracias a nuestro esfuerzo. Ya sólo queda esperar que todo vaya bien, que no tengan que cerrar la playa de Las Fuentes por un nuevo episodio de contaminación, y quizá dejadez del equipo de gobierno; que el nuevo, y discutible, carril bici del paseo de Las Fuentes no provoque ningún accidente; o que encontremos por fin, tras un año de búsqueda, la nueva ubicación para la tan demandada playa canina. Veremos si el equipo de gobierno ha hecho los deberes, como el resto de agentes del sistema turístico del municipio. Por cierto, este año tenemos que felicitarnos porque Alcalà de Xivert estrena Plan Estratégico de Turismo y Plan de Sostenibilidad Turística en Destino, lo que seguro supondrá un salto cualitativo como destino turístico. ¡Enhorabuena!
The longest night of the year is approaching and with it, the magic of summer. Soon Alcossebre will be full of tourists and will be full of life. The tourist machinery of our town (hotels, shops, services, leisure activities) is up and running and ready to receive the post pandemic tourists. Midsummer’s eve (San Juan) arrives and for self-employed people with a small tourist business, our social, family and any other kind of life comes to an end. Literally. It is our choice, it is not a complaint, but we know how hard it can be. So, from Compromís per Alcalà i Alcossebre, we send a message of encouragement to each of the gears of that tourist machinery, because we will get through the summer with flying colours, and October will come, and we will return to our walks and to see each other in the bars. We are a consolidated tourist destination and we are so thanks to our efforts. We can only hope that everything goes well, that they don’t have to close Las Fuentes beach due to a new episode of contamination, and perhaps the laziness of the government team; that the new, and debatable, cycle lane on Las Fuentes promenade doesn’t cause any accidents; or that we finally find, after a year of searching, the new location for the much-demanded dogs beach. We will see if the government team has done its homework, like the rest of the agents of the tourist system of the municipality. By the way, this year we have to congratulate ourselves because Alcalà de Xivert is launching its new Strategic Tourism Plan and Destination Tourism Sustainability Plan, which will surely mean a qualitative leap as a tourist destination.
